Our annual gem show is the highlight of our calendar! Enjoy stunning exhibits, hands-on activities for kids & the whole family, shopping from our many vendors, and opportunities to meet and speak with other collectors and enthusiasts.

GemFest 2026 will be held on Saturday, June 6th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM and Sunday, June 7th from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center located at 250 N Bloomfield Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424.

Admission is $5 for anyone over the age of 13, kids 12 & under are free when accompanied by an adult.

Over 20 vendors will be selling rocks, gems, minerals, fossils, jewelry, geodes, stone animals, crystals, beads, lapidary supplies, fluorescent stones, and much more!

Activities included with admission and fun for the whole family include hourly door prize raffles, soapstone carving, rock painting, a scavenger hunt, and a visit to Jerry the Geologist’s dinosaur & fossil exhibit. Kids from 3-103 always enjoy searching for minerals in paydirt (available for a small fee) at the club’s gem sluice. For those interested in the lapidary arts, complementary instructional wire wrapping classes and cabochon making demonstrations run throughout the show.
